You  have  to master certain skills necessary to make peace with food and your body. 

Yes, skills. 


You don't need some magical, stress-free life. 

You don't need to be  lucky with perfect genetics. 

You don't need to have special DNA. 


You need to learn what it takes to develop a relationship with your body, your thoughts and your feelings. So you don't have to  keep turning to eating behaviors as a way of coping with stress. 


You  need to develop the skills that will help you deal with the pressures of our modern culture and create nourishing relationships with others -- so you don’t turn to binge eating or food restriction when things get stressful.

Anyone can learn these basic life skills with just a little instruction and some practice. 


But first you have to know what they are -- because it is not what you’ve been told about how to follow food plans and develop will power.
