Eating in the Light of the Moon: How Women Can Transform Their Relationship with Food Through Myths, Metaphors, and Storytelling
There is nothing wrong with you...
You just haven't cracked your hunger code!
The biggest frustration that I keep hearing from people with food and weight obsessions -- is how stuck they feel. Just how difficult it is to just let go of old thought patterns and behaviors.
So annoying, isn't it?
There's nothing more maddening than feeling stuck!
You know how you want things to be, but for some reason, you just can’t make it happen.
Even worse, you think that you must be flawed in some way, that maybe others can do it but, because you can’t, there must be something wrong with you.
You are totally aware that what you are doing with food isn’t healthy -- and is making you absolutely miserable -- but you're still not sure what steps to take so that you can just have a normal relationship with food and your body.
I know that it's hard to keep up a positive attitude when you compare yourself to other people and wonder how they are able to live their lives without constantly fighting with food. And you just can’t.
That is why I created this 4 Part Video Series: Solving the Mystery

Here is the Secret to Recovery . . .
You have to master certain skills necessary to make peace with food and your body.
You don't need some magical, stress-free life.
You don't need to be lucky with perfect genetics.
You don't need to have special DNA.
You need to learn what it takes to develop a relationship with your body, your thoughts and your feelings. So you don't have to keep turning to eating behaviors as a way of coping with stress.
You need to develop the skills that will help you deal with the pressures of our modern culture and create nourishing relationships with others -- so you don’t turn to binge eating or food restriction when things get stressful.
And guess what?
Anyone can learn these basic life skills with just a little instruction and some practice.
But first you have to know what they are -- because it is not what you’ve been told about how to follow food plans and develop will power.
Just the opposite.
I know -- for sure -- that full, complete recovery from food, and dieting struggles is possible.
And I know many, many women who have done it.
I am not making this up.
I have seen this first hand.
I am a clinical psychologist and certified eating disorder specialist and supervisor, and Founder and Executive Clinical Director of Ai Pono, a highly acclaimed eating disorder program in Hawaii.
I am also the author of Eating in the Light of the Moon, which has been published in seven languages. For over 30 years I have offered individual consultations, professional training, and Soul Hunger workshops across the globe.
To this day I continue to receive emails and letters from women all over the world who are now living the lives they have always dreamed of -- free from food and weight obsessions, and body hatred. Soul-filled, rich, meaningful lives.
To share with you how to do it, I created a FREE 4-part video training series called “Solving the Mystery”, based on my best- selling book, Eating in the Light of the Moon.
